Three-year-old stock photo agency Raw Talent Photo has ceased operations, effective immediately. CEO Robin Elledge announced the decision in an email to photographers and clients July 9.
Elledge founded Raw Talent Photo in March of 2001 with commercial photographer and Brooks Institute professor Bill Robbins. The initial idea was to build a stock library from young and emerging photographers, hence the name. The Raw Talent Photo Web site went online just three days before the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
